Safety is paramount in the transport, logistics and warehousing industry. It is also at the heart of everything RTITB does. That’s why we are proud to introduce a new event – the RTITB Safety Summit and Awards.

The inaugural RTITB Safety Summit and Awards will be held at the Radisson Blu at Manchester Airport, on Thursday 19 September 2024. If you are serious about improving safety and compliance, modernising your training, and retaining your talent, this is an unmissable event.

We will be collaborating with industry leaders to share the latest insights about safety and training. And celebrate those companies and individuals that are making a difference.

The RTITB Safety Summit Conference will take place from 10am-4pm. The Awards dinner will kick off at 6:30pm.

What does the RTITB Safety Summit entail?

This brand new safety and training event will provide an agenda unlike any other industry event – full details are coming soon! It will include a daytime conference, and an evening awards event. This promises an invaluable opportunity to:

  • network and collaborate
  • hear the latest expert insights
  • get up to speed with best practices
  • explore emerging trends in safety and training
  • discover new ways to improve compliance and efficiency

Attendees to the daytime conference will have the opportunity to attend various sessions, from interactive workshops to informative seminars. The comprehensive program will be designed to equip Instructors, training providers, and employers with the knowledge and tools necessary to enhance workplace transport and equipment safety standards.

There will also be a small exhibition at the event, providing further networking and learning opportunities.

NEW! Safety and Training Awards

We want to celebrate the amazing achievements of those involved in training within our industry. So after the conference, there will be an Awards Dinner and Ceremony for RTITB Accredited Partner and Driver CPC consortium members. More details on how to enter will follow soon!

However, we can already reveal that awards will be presented to the Training Provider of the Year, the Training Team of the Year, and the Instructor of the Year.
