We’re committed to helping improve workplace transport training standards, and we know that our network of RTITB accredited Training Providers plays an important part in this. That’s why we’re here to support our training partners to grow their businesses.

If you’re a Training Provider, here are four of the ways that we can help you promote your materials handling equipment operator and Instructor training offerings.

  1. The RTITB Course Locator

If someone is looking for operator or Instructor training, we want to help them find you! One way is via the Course Locator on the RTITB website. Here, website visitors can select the course they need, and the location they need it. With a simple region or postcode search, website visitors receive a list of their 10 nearest training providers. This is where your contact details will appear. With more than 14,000 page views, it’s a great way to generate leads.

Have you ever called RTITB? Then you might have heard that we advise people to find Training Providers in our on-hold phone messages. We also send out monthly email shots to our RTITB mailing list of over 40,000 industry contacts to encourage the use of the RTITB accredited Training Provider network.

We also run paid Google Ad campaigns each month to help ensure the Course Locator is a destination for anyone looking for a relevant training course. Plus, we encourage people to visit our Course Locator via regular social media posts on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

2. FREE LinkedIn Takeovers

Another way that we help generate visibility for Training Providers on social media is through our LinkedIn ‘Takeover’ opportunity.

As an RTITB accredited Training Provider, you can take over the RTITB LinkedIn channel for a whole weekend to promote your choice of messages to our 4000+ followers. You can select the dates you want, and have control over what you want to share, including details of courses, company news, blogs, and more. This is a completely free service exclusively for our Training Provider network.

To secure your dates, simply email the RTITB marketing team. They can also provide you with guidance on the type of content to supply for optimum results.

3. Marketing Toolkit and Awards

We understand our Training Providers are busy, and marketing can sometimes take a back seat. That’s why we have created a Marketing Toolkit packed with simple resources that can help you to promote your business and your achievements.

The Marketing Toolkit includes guidance on producing social media content and blogs, as well as template press releases to use, and much more. Find it now on your MyRTITB Portal.

This year, we also provided a guide on how to enter the UKMHA Awards to help our Training Providers to be recognised for their fantastic achievements when it comes to improving site safety through quality, standardised training. RTITB also helps develop joint award entries with accredited Training Providers. Talk to our marketing team if you’d like to jointly enter an award.

4. Joint case studies

Another way we help promote the great work you are doing is through case studies.

We regularly collaborate with our accredited partners to create co-branded case study PDFs. These showcase how we worked together and why it has benefitted your business. The PDF documents can be used for your own marketing purposes.

For instance, your team can share them with their contacts to help grow the business with new enquiries. Or you could add the information to your website to showcase it to existing and potential customers.

All the case studies we create with our partners also appear on the RTITB website. We frequently promote them via social media posts and in our monthly e-newsletters.
