During a HealthCheck, qualified auditors and workplace transport specialists conduct a thorough review of all aspects of the organisation’s MHE training and operations, not just Basic Training. This includes everything from key custody arrangements and PPE usage to record keeping and Instructor qualifications.
Operations are assessed against relevant regulations, such as ACoP L117, and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines, resulting in an impartial report revealing potential risks and areas for improvement, as well as highlighting good practice. Importantly, the plain English report will recommend how you can take action now.
2. Eradicate ‘in-house’ training certificates
We know that it can be difficult to justify training spend for operators if your organisation has concerns that they will use their certificate to gain employment elsewhere. In the past, organisations have overcome this by issuing ‘in-house’ certificates, that did not have the backing and protection of RTITB Accreditation.
