JAUPT Top Findings During Audits: April – June 2022

JAUPT has recently shared its detailed list of the top auditing findings during Centre Quality Assurance Visits and Course Quality Assurance Visits to those delivering Driver CPC Periodic Training. This is for the period of 1st April to 30 June 2022.

If you deliver Driver CPC Periodic Training, these JAUPT audit findings could provide helpful guidance to help uphold your standards.

Centre Quality Assurance Visit:

  1. The centre can demonstrate that it assesses the suitability and safety of training venues prior to use – 3%
  2. The centre can demonstrate the trainer(s) is/are aware of legislative/ regulatory requirements – 4%
  3. The centre can demonstrate an auditable trail of records including attendance and identity checks – 0%
  4. The Driver CPC Recording and Evidencing (R&E) database and/or the DVA’s database details match the information on the course attendance record – 6%
  5. The centre can demonstrate the process to ensure that the attendance data is uploaded within 5 working days by an authorised person – 6%
  6. The centre can demonstrate that trainer(s) are provided with an opportunity to feedback on the course(s) – 6%

Course Quality Assurance Visit:

  1. A full and auditable record was completed to confirm identity and the minimum attendance requirement was completed on each day – 11.05%
  2. As part of the course introduction trainees were told the approved aims and objectives of the course – 8.02%
  3. The trainer provided opportunities for trainee questions, checked knowledge transfer throughout and confirmed learning outcomes were achieved – 7.31%
  4. Delivery was in accordance with the approved course summary to ensure learning outcomes were met – 5.70%
  5. Trainees were given up to date information about security & fair processing of their personal information – 5.53%
