How many different ways does RTITB promote you as an Accredited Training Provider? There are too many to list here! But here are just some of the ways that we help promote you and support your marketing efforts.

  1. A Complete Marketing Toolkit

Marketing takes time. And we know you may not have a dedicated marketing person in your business. That’s why we have created a complete Marketing Toolkit for you.

This is packed with simple resources that can help you to promote your business and your achievements. The Marketing Toolkit includes guidance on producing social media content and blogs, as well as template press releases to use, and much more. We have updated everything in the toolkit this year, and regularly review the contents to ensure it is as useful as possible for our members.

This year we have added even more to the marketing toolkit, including:

  • Pre-made social media posts with eye catching images​
  • A guide to Google Ads ​
  • A guide to LinkedIn advertising ​
  • A rundown of need-to-know industry awards and events​
  • A guide to writing a winning award entry
  • An A5 leaflet design that you can print and distribute in your local area

  1. FREE LinkedIn Takeovers

Want to reach a bigger audience on social media? We help with a free ‘LinkedIn ‘Takeover’ opportunity.

Our RTITB Accredited Training Providers can take over our LinkedIn channel with four of their own social posts across a whole weekend. This will give your posts visibility in front of our 4000+ followers. You could share posts with details of upcoming courses, company news, blogs, success stories, and more. And it’s completely free to do so.

All you need to do is email the RTITB marketing team to secure the dates, and then send us the content for your social posts. We’ll check and approve them before posting them.

  1. Google Ads Every Month

As an Accredited Training Provider, your business is listed in the Course Locator on the RTITB website. We help people find this with paid Google Ad campaigns each month. Marketing budget is invested in this every single month.

This means when people search for relevant keywords, our Ads appear in the top results, directing them to the Course Locator. Some of the top keywords we target include ‘forklift course near me’, ‘forklift operator course’, ‘lift truck training’, and many more.

The result is that since April 2022, there have been 19,079 page views of the Counterbalance Operator course, and 9,193 views on the Reach Truck Operator course page.

  1. Course Locator Promotion

As well as promoting the Course Locator via Google Ads, we also drive visitors there in other ways. For example, we regularly promote the Course Locator via social media posts. In these posts, we continue to encourage people to select an RTITB Accredited Training Provider for the courses they need.

We also frequently post blog articles which showcase the benefits of choosing an RTITB Accredited Partner to deliver training. There have been 9 relevant blogs since April last year. Again, these encourage visitors to the Course Locator, where your company and contact details are listed.

Remember – we’re always happy for you to share our blogs via your social media channels or on your website too. Take a look at the blog or ask the marketing team for more information.

  1. On Hold Phone Messages

Have you ever called RTITB? Then you might have heard that we advise people to find Training Providers in our on-hold phone messages.

These give callers instructions on how to access the Course Locator via the RTITB website. Also, the types of courses that can be searched for.

  1. Supporting You at Events

If you’re attending a local event to promote your business, you only need to talk to RTITB for support. Very often, we can supply our RTITB Accredited Training Providers with free merchandise to help promote their business.  We can also help promote your attendance at events via our social channels.

RTITB also attends numerous national trade shows for the logistics and warehousing industry. There are opportunities to partner with RTITB to promote your business on our exhibition stand. Plus, we can also give you help and advice if you wish to attend these larger shows.

We know how useful events can be for nurturing your sales pipeline. That’s why we also work with industry exhibitions to identify opportunities for our members. For example, we secured a low-cost pod exhibitor zone especially for training businesses with the organisers of the upcoming IWLEX Exhibition and Conference.

  1. Helping You Win Awards

We want our Training Providers to be recognised for their fantastic achievements.  We often publish guidance on how to enter key industry awards. This makes it easy for you to create a (hopefully winning) entry. For example, we recently created a handy guide for our members on how to enter the UKMHA Awards.

Our marketing team can also help you identify awards to enter if this is an area you want to explore. There is no cost for this expert advice. Just ask!

We also love putting together joint award entries with our Accredited Training Providers! These showcase how RTITB accreditation in conjunction with your high training standards have helped you or your customers achieve big things.

  1. Joint Case Studies

We regularly collaborate with our accredited partners to create co-branded case studies. These showcase how we worked together and why it has benefitted your business.

All the case studies we create with our partners are professionally designed as a PDF. And they appear on the RTITB website. We also frequently promote them via social media posts and in our monthly e-newsletters that reach 40,000+ contacts.

You are also encouraged to use the PDF documents for your own sales and marketing. For instance, your team can share them with their contacts to help grow the business with new enquiries. Or you could add the information to your website to showcase it to existing and potential customers.

  1. Free Resources

We continue to develop free resources for our members. These may be helpful for you, and they can also be used to give your customers added value. Sharing these easy to understand, informative resources allows you to help your customers, and build strong relationships.

There are several new resources in the pipeline. However, three new resources were developed in 2022 that are available to you now.

We are constantly reviewing how we can support you. This year we are planning to do even more. For example, we will be:

  • Including monthly marketing top tips in your Accreditation E-bulletin
  • Adding a ‘Training provider focus’ social media post every two months on our channels. This will link to your website. (Contact us for details)
  • Running paid for LinkedIn advertisements to drive even more visitors to the Course Locator
  • Hosting a Marketing & Sales Top Tips Forum every six months – the first is planned for June 2023
