FLTA Safety Drive

At RTITB, our primary goal is to help keep people safe. That’s why this month, we’re supporting the #FLTASafetyDrive campaign from the Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA) – with a view to increase awareness and reduce the risk of incidents within busy operations.

With a vision that closely aligns with our own, the #FLTASafetyDrive campaign, which started on 5th October, will share advice and guidance on a range of different safety topics, from training to forklift safety and more. All of which are backed by helpful free resources available on their website. To help improve safety around lift truck operations further, a range of RTITB solutions are available to help you and your team. The resources library on our website not only includes downloadable guides and quizzes, but a range of helpful webinars that are free to watch too. Of course, our core services are also designed to enhance and ensure safety.

Did you know that with sufficient training, forklift and plant drivers are less likely to cause damage to equipment? Not only does this result in reduced downtime and repair costs, but improved operator performance leads to an increase in productivity levels too.

So, whether you need accreditation for your entire lift truck operation or to stock up on pre-use inspection test marking sheets, we’re here to help you to improve workplace transport training standards, and, in turn, safety around forklift operations.

Making a measurable difference doesn’t have to take long either! Did you know that we can help you to improve safety, efficiency and compliance in just one day? With an RTITB Workplace Transport Operations HealthCheck, our internationally qualified lead auditors and workplace transport training specialists conduct a thorough audit of your operations, via risk assessment, observation, interviews and more. What’s more, we’ll give you an impartial report revealing potential risks and areas for improvement, as well as highlighting good practice. Importantly, the plain English report will recommend how you can take action now.
