Complaints about Reasonable Adjustments, decisions about Reasonable Adjustments, and Special Considerations will be treated in the same manner as any other type of complaint, and we will respond appropriately.

This Conflict of Interest Policy aims to increase awareness and understanding of conflicts of interest, explain how to recognise and record conflicts of interest, explain how to mitigate and manage conflicts of interest, and provide a structure of regular review for conflicts of interest.

Malpractice and Maladministration Policy and Procedure

This Malpractice and Maladministration Policy and Procedure applies to all of the RTITB workforce, Apprentices, their employers and training providers, and Proctors. It applies for RTITB End-point Assessment services only. Other RTITB services have their own malpractice and maladministration policy/procedures. This policy and procedure also provides the framework for investigations into potential EPA malpractice/maladministration.

Reasonable Adjustments Policy

This Reasonable Adjustments Policy provides the RTITB workforce with guidance on the application of reasonable adjustments to ensure fair and unbiased assessment for apprentices with disabilities or physical or mental health conditions.

Safeguarding Policy

This Safeguarding Policy is to provide the RTITB workforce with guidance on actions they should take if they suspect a vulnerable person is at risk of abuse, neglect or significant harm. The policy also provides guidance on the steps that should be taken in the event a member of the RTITB workforce has suspicions regarding the contact of another member of the RTITB workforce engaged on RTITB business with a vulnerable person.
